FENTON, Mo. - Liberty University scored four goals in the first half en route to a 5-0 victory against Saint Louis Saturday in non-conference field hockey action at Soccer Park.

Sarah Gipe and Hannah Doherty had two goals apiece for the Flames, and Mercedes Cox also added a goal as Liberty improved to 6-4 on the season. The Billikens dip to 1-10.

SLU goalie Tori Westhead saw her first action of her collegiate career after spelling starter Megan Depew-Brady late in the first half. Westhead made fives saves, including a stop on a Liberty penalty shot.

The Billikens return to action tomorrow when they host Miami (Ohio) at Soccer Park. First whistle is scheduled for 2 p.m.
