ABOUT THE BILLIKENS – Senior defender Jessie Jarrett and sophomore forward Livi Logan-Wood have two goals and an assist each for a team-high five points. Senior midfielder/forward Jenny Hummert and junior defender Maddy Bush have tallied two goals apiece, while freshman forward Cristina Rodriguez has a goal and an assist. Senior midfielder Tori Belgeri has recorded a goal; sophomore midfielder Jamei Borges has two assists; and senior forward Maddie Gebauer, freshman midfielder Tori Marshall and freshman forward Kirsten Clemens own one assist apiece.

LAST TIME OUT The Billikens snapped a nine-game winless streak with a 3-2 victory over St. Bonaventure in the A-10 opener Sept. 27 at Robert R. Hermann Stadium. SLU recovered from an early deficit and took a 2-1 lead, only to see the Bonnies pull even. However, Livi Logan-Wood, assisted by Kirsten Clemens, scored the game-winner late in the contest. Jessie Jarrett (unassisted) and Tori Belgeri (Maddie Gebauer) also found the back of the net for Saint Louis.

HEAD COACH KATIE SHIELDS Katie Shields is in her first season as the Billikens' head coach after serving as a SLU assistant coach last year. Shields is joined on the sideline by four newcomers to the staff – assistant coaches Scott Gloden and Vince Gentile, volunteer assistant Anne Gloden and senior graduate manager Maggie Baumann.

SCOUTING RICHMOND – The Spiders are 2-2-1 in their last five outings, including a 4-0 loss at Dayton in their conference opener Sept. 28. Senior midfielder Kristen Lybert (2G, 1A) and senior forward Erin Layne (2G) are Richmond's leading scorers. Two players have combined to log most of the time in goal. Sophomore Emily Kelly owns a 0.98 goals against average and two shutouts in five starts, while freshman Devin O'Brien has started six games and carries a 2.41 GAA to go with one shutout.

THE RICHMOND SERIES – The Billikens lead the Spiders 3-2-1, but Richmond has posted a 1-0 victory in each of the last two meetings.

UP NEXT – The Billikens take on new league member George Mason Sunday, Oct. 6, in Fairfax, Va. First whistle is slated for 2 p.m. (CT).
