ST. LOUIS - The Saint Louis field hockey team fell to conference newcomers Saint Francis, 2-1. Meredith Jeffers scored her third goal of the season in the contest. The Billikens fall to 1-18 on the season and 0-6 in Atlantic 10 action.

The Bills spread the ball around on offense, with six players taking a shot (Megan Rogers led with two shots). Jeffers scored the lone goal in the 61st minute. Faith Mackin dribble down the right side and fired a pass to Jeffers in front of the net. She finished to the left. The assist was Mackin's fourth of the season (second on team) and she now leads Saint Louis with 14 points.

Defensively, Tori Westhead played all 70 minutes between the pipes, collecting eight saves. 

The Billikens wrap up the 2013 season tomorrow, Nov. 2, when they take on Lock Haven at 11 a.m.
