Box Score ST. LOUIS - The Billiken field hockey team concluded its 2013 season with a 0-7 loss to Lock Haven on Sunday afternoon. The loss gives Saint Louis a 1-19 record overall and 0-7 in conference play.
The Bills were able to spread the ball around on offense with Lisa Smith, Megan Rogers and Alanah Busby each recording a shot.
Sophomore Tori Westhead started in goal for SLU, registering three saves in the first half. In the second half, Megan Depew-Brady took over, notching five saves in the final 35 minutes.
On the season, SLU scored 21 goals and tallied 21 assists. As a team, Billiken goalies accumulated 188 saves. Rogers took 64 shots in her senior campaign, the third-highest single season total in Saint Louis history. Rogers and Faith Mackin tied for the team lead in goals with five, Caitlin Gibson led in assists with five and Mackin led the team in total points with 14 (five goals, four assists)
