ALLENDALE, Mich. – Competing in its final meet before next weekend's Atlantic 10 Conference indoor track and field championships, Saint Louis registered numerous PRs at the GVSU Big Meet, held on the campus of Grand Valley State University.

Nathan Rubbelke got things started with a PR in the 5,000 meters, finishing in 15:38.8. In the men's 600 meters, Luke Hibbeler ran a school-record time of 1:21.80, while Pat Sheil, Albert Marban and Andrew Sloan posted PRs as well.

Jack Hostettler, Eric Stoddard and Thomas Beddome ran the 3,000 meters in 8:36.04, 8:56.74 and 9:16.40, respectively; all PRs. Ryan Osborn had PRs in the 60 meters (7.57) and 200 meters (24.42). Nathan Hall's time of 51.63 in the 400 meters was good for a PR. Posting personal bests in the 800 meters was Marban (1:55.18), Sheil (1:56.03) and Sloan (2:02.10).

The men's 4x400-meter relay team, consisting of Griffin McCurren, Tommy Whittaker, Hall and Hibbeler, registered a time of 3:20.1, which was good for first and broke a six-year old school record.

A pair of Billikens registered PRs in the throws. Brett Turnbough had a PR in the shot put (12.98m), while Tim Bianco had a PR of 13.06m in the weight throw.

On the women's side, Emily Meingast and Kayla Snyder ran a PRs over 600 meters, finishing in 1:42.88 and 1:43.03, respectively. Maddie Bryan finished second in the 60 meters with a PR of 7.91. She also registered a personal best in the 200 meters, finishing in 26.04.

Rachel Staab (25.97) and Britta Engstrom (26.89) also posted personal bests in the 200 meters. Meingast also posted a PR in the mile, finishing in 5:29.84.

Saint Louis travels to Kingston, R.I., next weekend for the A-10 Championships on the campus of the University of Rhode Island.
