Billikens Win Eighth Straight

INDIANAPOLIS – Saint Louis women's tennis extended its winning streak to eight with a 4-0 win over Butler Friday afternoon.

The victory tied SLU (14-4) with the 1994-95 and 2000-01 Billikens for the third-longest winning streak in program history. The Bills have won 13 of their last 14 contests.

After capturing the doubles point with convincing wins at No. 1 (Stephanie Hollis/Brooke Urzendowski) and No. 2 (Aspen Cervin/Madison Cook), Saint Louis clinched the match with straight-set singles triumphs at No. 1 (Cervin), No. 4 (Urzendowski) and No. 6 (Cook).

The Billikens conclude the regular season Saturday, taking on Atlantic 10 Conference opponent Duquesne in Dayton, Ohio.
