OVERVIEW
Carter Hanford went 2-for-3 and drove in three runs, but Dayton used a four-run fourth inning to defeat the Billikens 6-5 Saturday in an Atlantic 10 Conference matchup at the Billiken Sports Center.
SLU (22-14, 6-6 A-10) and Dayton (12-26, 2-9) will play the rubber game of the three-game set tomorrow in a 1 p.m. first pitch, an hour later than originally scheduled.

- In the fourth inning, James Morisano appeared to hit his eighth home run of the year. However, Dayton challenged that Morisano did not touch home plate, and the umpire subsequently called him out on the play.
- In the bottom of the ninth with two outs, Devin Mahoney nearly walked it off with a two-run homer down the right field line, but the ball was just foul.
