Box Score Kendra Wilken and Ciaja Harbison combined for 46 points to lead Saint Louis to a 64-51 victory over George Mason Sunday afternoon in Fairfax, Va.
The Billikens have won four consecutive games for the first time since the 2017-18 season.
Wilken collected her second straight 20-point game, tallying a career-high 25 points, along with six rebounds, three blocks and two assists to lead the Billikens (14-9, 6-4 A-10). Harbison recorded 21 points on a career-best 10 field goals, while also dishing out a game-high six assists.
Sophomore Myia Clark scored six points, while Myriama Smith Traore added five and grabbed nine rebounds.
Nicole Cardano-Hillary led George Mason (8-16, 2-9 A-10) with 23 points and five assists, while Marika Korpinen contributed 13 points and grabbed a team-high six rebounds.
The two teams exchanged buckets early in the game, but Wilken collected eight of the final 10 points scored in the quarter to give the Billikens a 13-7 lead at the end of one.
Harbison netted 11 of her 21 points in the second period, including a 3-pointer that put the Billikens up 31-17. However, a 14-0 run from George Mason knotted the game at 31. Smith Traore hit a bucket in the final seconds of the half to give Saint Louis a 35-33 advantage going into the locker room.
An 11-4 run to start the second half for the Billikens gave them a 46-37 lead and forced a Patriots timeout. With 1.9 seconds left on the clock, Harbison lobbed an inbound to Wilken who tipped it in at the buzzer to put the Billikens up 52-41 at the end of the third quarter.
Back-to-back field goals from Wilken and Harbison to start the fourth period put Saint Louis up 56-41. Harbison hit her 10th field goal of the game to put SLU up 58-45. Wilken's career-best 25th point gave the Billikens a 64-51 lead and solidified the victory.
Saint Louis will continue its road trip Wednesday, Feb. 12, at Rhode Island. Tip off is at 6 p.m. CT, and the game will be streamed to ESPN+.
