• After picking up a win against reigning Atlantic 10 Conference champion VCU last weekend, Saint Louis takes a break from league play this week and takes on two nonconference foes.
• The victory over VCU was the program's first against the Rams. VCU entered last weekend's game at the top of the A-10 standings.
• Sasha Sander made 10 saves, freshman Josefina tallied the lone score of the game and the Billikens shutout VCU 1-0 at SportPort International. Sander was named the A-10 Defensive Player of the Week on Monday.
• SLU was the first A-10 team to hold the Rams scoreless since the 2019 season.
• The Billikens will visit Indiana on Friday at 11 a.m. CT on Big Ten Network +. The Hoosiers will mark the third Big Ten competition for SLU this season.
• Saint Louis will host Central Michigan at noon on Sunday and will celebrate its graduating student-athletes prior to the match. Jordan BeSore, Maeve Donevan, Nicole McDowell, Parker Guy, Julianne Sacco, Sander and Emily Wastell will each be honored in a pregame ceremony.
• Junior Demi Sahuleka (2G, 5A) leads the team with nine points.
• Perez (eight points) and Lotte Teunissen (seven) are the Billiken leaders in goals with three each.
• Sander ranks second in the A-10 with 6.17 saves per game.
