ST. LOUIS – Saint Louis sophomore goalkeeper Patrick Schulte was named the Atlantic 10 Conference men's soccer Defensive Player of the Week, the league announced today.

Schulte registered the shutout in the Billikens' 2-0 win over Dayton on Saturday night. He made two saves and was sharp on crosses to eliminate scoring chances for the Flyers.

It was Schulte's fourth shutout of the season and the 12th of his career.

Schulte has earned the league's Defensive Player of the Week nod twice already this season.

The Billikens continue A-10 play on Wednesday when they take on St. Bonaventure in Western New York in a 4 p.m. (CT) first kick.
