GAME NOTES: Saint Louis | Dayton | Atlantic 10
• Saint Louis opens 2022 and Atlantic 10 Conference play Sunday with an 11 a.m. CT tipoff at Dayton in Dayton, Ohio.
• Chris Hassell and Julianne Viani-Braen have the call on CBS Sports Network. Brad Barnes will provide an audio feed on SLUBillikens.com.
• SLU will be back in action for the first time in 27 days, following the cancellation at Bradley on Dec. 28 and postponements of the first three league games.
• The Billikens were picked fourth in the A-10 Preseason poll, while Dayton was tabbed the winner.
• The Billikens wrapped up nonconference play with a 4-8 mark, after facing four teams currently ranked in the top 52 in the NET rankings: Florida Gulf Coast (31), Kansas (38), Missouri (44) and Northern Iowa (52).Â
• The Billikens handed Dayton its first A-10 regular-season home loss in UD Arena since 2016 last season, snapping a streak of 36 victories. Brooke Flowers powered SLU to a 64-57 win on Feb. 20, posting 19 points, 16 rebounds and four blocks.
• Flowers' 3.3 blocks per game are fifth best in the NCAA, while her 11.0 rebounds rank 17th.
• Ciaja Harbison is fifth in the conference in scoring, with an average of 16.3 points.
• SLU welcomed Ronni Nwora and Anna Maria Prifti to its roster earlier this week.
• Dayton sits 2-0 in A-10 play and has an 11-3 overall mark. The Flyers have won five straight contests and are 5-1 on their home floor this season.
• UD is led by sophomore Makira Cook with 15.5 points per game and graduate student Erin Whalen with 15.3 points and 6.3 rebounds each outing.
