Gibson Jimerson is one of five men's basketball student-athletes selected to the College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA) Academic All-District 6 team.

A third-year international business major with a cumulative GPA above 3.9, Jimerson leads the Billikens in scoring with 16.6 ppg. He shoots 44.8 percent from the field, 41.5 percent from 3-point range and 85.1 percent from the stripe.

Jimerson has led the Billikens in scoring in 13 games (including ties) so far this season, including a career-high 31 points in a win against Massachusetts. He has scored in double figures in all but four games this year, and he has seven outings of 20 or more points.

Jimerson is now eligible for the NCAA Division I Academic All-America Team, which is voted upon by members of CoSIDA and announced on March 14. He is vying to become the seventh Academic All-American in school history, joining
