FIVE FACTS
Â
1 // Three Billikens earned postseason All-Conference honors from the Atlantic 10 (read more). Yuri Collins was named first-team All-Conference and to the All-Defensive team. Gibson Jimerson was third-team All-Conference and repeated on the All-Academic squad. Fred Thatch Jr. joined Jimerson on the All-Academic team.
Â
2 // Yuri Collins continues to lead the NCAA in total assists (251) and assists per game (7.8). He is on pace to join two Billiken greats as NCAA statistical individual champions – Ed Macauley (FG%, .524 in 1948-49) and Anthony Bonner (Rebounds per Game, 13.8 in 1989-90). Collins is one of just nine players in NCAA Division I in the last five years to dish out 250+ assists in a season.
Â
3 // Gibson Jimerson leads the Billikens in scoring with 16.3 ppg. His 74 3-pointers this year rank fourth in a single season in SLU history and are the most since Erwin Claggett's school-record 103 triples in the 1994-95 season.
Â
4 // The Billikens lead the Atlantic 10 in scoring with 77.3 ppg. That mark ranks sixth in a single-season in program history.
Â
5 // The Billikens are in the quarterfinals of the A-10 Championship for the fourth straight tourney. This is the third consecutive A-10 tourney that SLU and St. Bonaventure have faced off. SLU defeated the Bonnies in the championship game of the 2019 A-10 Championship in Brooklyn, N.Y. The Bonnies defeated the Billikens in last year's semifinals in Richmond, Virginia.
