Block Out Hunger Night Wednesday at Chaifetz Arena

Billiken Athletics is thrilled to announce a special event aimed at making a significant impact on food insecurity in the St. Louis community. Block Out Hunger Night at Chaifetz Arena, in collaboration with Neighbors Credit Union and Operation Food Search, will take place at the Arena on January 24, 2024, during the men's basketball game against Davidson at 6:00 pm.

Hunger is an ongoing concern for many families in the St. Louis area, and the goal of this cause marketing promotion is to rally fans and the community to support those in need. Block Out Hunger Night at Chaifetz Arena will feature a canned food drive, inviting fans to bring non-perishable food items to the game as their contribution to the cause.

To make it even more enticing for fans to participate, anyone who donates a non-perishable food item will receive a free ticket to the game. This promotion not only offers a fans an exciting night of basketball but also provides an opportunity for the community to come together and make a positive impact.

Billiken Sports Properties General Manger, Kyle Ingram, expressed his enthusiasm for this initiative, saying, "We are proud to partner with Neighbors Credit Union and Operation Food Search to Block Out Hunger in our community. Together, we can make a significant difference and help those in need. We encourage all of our fans to join us on January 24th, bring your donations, and enjoy a thrilling game of basketball while giving back to our community."

Block Out Hunger Night promises to be an unforgettable evening of basketball, community spirit, and generosity. Block Out Hunger Night is a special evening, part of this season's Block Out Hunger campaign with the men's and women's Billiken Basketball teams, Neighbors Credit Union, and Operation Food Search.
