WASHINGTON – Saint Louis women's basketball swept the Atlantic 10 weekly awards following a record-breaking win over UHSP, the league announced Monday.
 
Alexia Nelson was named Atlantic 10 Player of the Week, while Alyssa Koerkenmeier earned Rookie of the Week honors.
 
Nelson recorded her first career double-double, finishing with 23 points and 10 assists, both career highs. She added six rebounds, two steals and committed just one turnover.
 
Her 23 points came on 8-of-15 shooting, including 3 of 8 from beyond the arc, and she went 4 of 6 from the free-throw line.
 
Koerkenmeier notched her second double-double of the season with 25 points and 12 rebounds, both career highs. Her 25 points were the most by a Billiken this season. She also contributed four blocks and two assists.
 
The freshman scored her 25 points on 11-of-15 shooting and a perfect 3-for-3 performance at the free-throw line.
 
Saint Louis' 132-53 victory set multiple program records. The 132 points marked a program best and the most ever scored inside Chaifetz Arena. The Billikens knocked down 17 3-pointers to set a new program record and tied the program mark with 33 assists.
