Chicago - The Saint Louis University volleyball team dropped a 3-1 decision in non-conference action at Loyola on Tuesday night. Game scores were 4-15, 7-15, 15-7, 10-15. The Billikens fall to 9-12 while Loyola improves to 12-7.

The Billikens had more errors than kills over the first two games in falling behind 2-0. SLU rebounded to hit .476 in game three and held Loyola to a .071 hitting percentage and took game three 15-7. But, Loyola bounced back to close out the match 15-10.

Colleen Hunter led the Billikens with 17 kills and added five digs. Brooke Minniear had a match-high eight digs and Shannan Swiney handed out 21 assists.

The Billikens are next in action when they host Memphis on Fri., Oct. 20 at 7 p.m.
