WASHINGTON, D.C. – Freshman setter Jetta Brenning was named the Atlantic 10 Volleyball Rookie of the Week, the league announced Monday.
 
Brenning recorded two double-doubles in the Billikens' sweep of Rhode Island, including a 40-assist performance on Saturday — the most by any A-10 player this season in a three-set match.
 
Across seven sets, she averaged 11.43 assists, 4.14 digs and 1.43 kills per set while hitting .273. She also added two service aces and two block assists on the weekend.
