The Saint Louis Billiken field hockey team defeated Davidson 1-0 at Belk Turf Field Friday night to pick up its third consecutive conference victory after back-to-back wins over Appalachian State last week. Saint Louis improves to 5-6 on the season and 3-0 in Northern Pacific Conference play, while the Wildcats drop to 0-3 in the NorPac and 4-9 overall.

Marissa Lynn recorded her third goal of the season on an assist by junior
Kelly Hellenga.
Billiken goalkeeper Julie Moeckel picked up her second shutout of the year
in tonight¹s match, notching seven saves. Offensively, the teams were evenly matched with Saint Louis putting up 14 shots to Davidson¹s 15.
The Wildcats host Saint Louis again tomorrow, Oct. 23, in a 1 p.m. game on
Belk Turf.
