Springfield, Mo. - Saint Louis took advantage of its opportunities to post a 3-1 triumph over Missouri State tonight in a non-conference field hockey match at Plaster Field. Mary Henry potted the game winner for the Bills.

Saint Louis scored twice in the opening period as Jacklyn McGranahan opened the scoring at the 15:43 mark. Henry's winner followed at 22:15.

SLU's Catherine Donovan's goal put the game out of reach in the second half at 55:23.

Liz Miyashita scored the Bears' only goal when Missouri State was awarded a penalty stroke 66:54

The Bears out-shot the Billikens 34-10, but SLU keeper Amy Wasserman came up big with 22 saves. The Bears' Kim Kinsella made six stops.
