Peoria, Ill. - Mary Moloney finished in 14th place overall at the Bradley Classic to lead the Saint Louis women's cross country team to a fourth-place finish on Friday evening. Steve Vargas was the top men's runner for the Billikens.

Moloney blazed the 6K course in 22:56 to place 14th in a field of 127 runners. Laura Coyer was the very next runner in 22:59, good for 15th overall. Laura Peabody came across the line in 23:26, and Anissa Reynolds was next for the team in 23:34, good for 30th in the field. Brigette Schutzman was the team's fifth-place runner in 23:53. The women compiled 124 points, missing third place by just one point, out of 13 schools.

Steve Vargas was the top Billiken runner, covering the 8K course in 26:28 to finish 24th overall. Mat Stuber was second for SLU in 26:57, and Matt McKenney placed a strong third in 27:03. Jason Genta was next for the Billikens in 27:29, while Lucas Roethlisberger had a good run to place fifth on the team. The men's squad finished 11th in the 13-team field.
