ST. LOUIS - Senior Night for Saint Louis University swimming and diving was a success Friday evening as the Billiken men's and women's squads posted dual-meet victories against Lindenwood and Stephens College (women's only) at the Simon Recreation Center.

The women's squad registered 143-72 and 149-54 wins against Lindenwood and Stephens College, respectively. The men's team topped Lindenwood 139-84.

The Bills got off to a hot start, with both the men's and women's teams claiming wins in the 1000 free. Jessica Schwarz touched in 11:05.98 for the women, while Stephen Sheridan posted a first-place time of 10:30.57 for the men.

Both the men's and women's teams went one-two in the 200 free. B.J. Sayre (1:48.99) did it for the men's team, while Lindsey Tamkun (2:07.23) achieved the feat on the women's side.

Katie Kolster and Adam Trafton picked up wins in the 50 free with times of 25.57 and 22.78, respectively. Robertson won the women's 200 IM with a time of 2:13.14, while Justin Breithaupt touched first in the men's event with a time of 2:00.67.

Sheridan won the 100 fly (52.47) with Parker finishing second (53.42), while Schwarz and Robertson finished in the top-two for the women in the 100 free with times of 55.86 and 56.77, respectively. Sayre (48.80) and Walsh (49.79) did the same in the men's 100-free race.

Tamkun won the 100 back with a time of 1:03.73, while Jordan Hagar finished first in the 500 free with a time of 5:23.38. Dahle won the men's 500 by a wide margin, out-touching the nearest competitor by more than 25 seconds and finishing with a time of 4:49.13. That time is a season-best in the 500 free so far this season by a Billiken.

Laura Robertson was a winner for the women in the 100 breast with a time of 1:10.50. On the men's side, Brian Brasser touched first in 59.80, which is the eighth fastest mark in SLU history.

In relay action, both the men's and women's 200 yard medley squads picked up wins. The women's team of Tamkun, Jillian Smith and Kolster posted a time of 1:54.04. On the men's side, Kevin Parker, Adam Walsh finished in 1:37.86.

The 800-free relay, the final event of the evening, was won by SLU. For the women, Schwarz, Kolster, Jordan Hagar and Katie Robertson finished in 8:10.94 to place first. The men's relay, consisting of Dahle, Trafton, Sheridan and Walsh, placed first with a time of 7:05.58.

On the boards, Anna Larson and Chad Carmichael were double winners for the Billikens. Larson won the three-meter event with a score of 277.05 and the one-meter dive with a tally of 258.80. Carmichael won at three meters with a combined score of 274.12, while claiming the top spot in the one-meter board with a score of 249.55.
