Billikens Battle Before Falling to Central Michigan

ST. LOUIS - The Billiken field hockey team stayed competitive with Central Michigan, but ultimately fell to the Chippewas 1-0. Saint Louis is now 2-14 on the year.

The lone goal of the game came early in the first off of a CMU penalty corner. 

In the second half, the Billikens were tough in the offensive end, out-shooting the Chippewas 7-3 and gathering five penalty corners to CMU's one. 

Shannon Knobloch led SLU with three shots, one on goal.

The Bills wrap up their home schedule on Sunday, Oct. 26 when they host Saint Joseph's at Soccer Park. First whistle is set for 1 p.m.
