JONESBORO, Ark. – Lindsay Elking tallied a goal for Saint Louis as the Billikens concluded exhibition play with a 1-1 tie against Arkansas State Friday night at the ASU Soccer Complex.

Elking, with an assist from Kirsten Clemens, gave SLU a 1-0 lead at the 63:15 mark. Arkansas State's Katie Hosea, assisted by Mykel Ward, scored the equalizer at 70:46.

Jordan Catalano recorded game highs of four shots and two shots on goal. Goalkeepers Mary Niehaus and Hanna Benben collected two saves apiece.

The Billikens open the regular season Friday, Aug. 22, against UT Martin in Martin, Tenn. Game time is 7 p.m.
