ST. LOUIS – Pavlina Nepokojova scored in the 79th minute to give Murray State a 1-0 victory over Saint Louis Sunday afternoon at Robert R. Hermann Stadium.

Nepokojova's goal, her first of the season, was unassisted at the 78:50 mark. She directed a shot from the left side into the right side of the net.

The Billikens (3-4) threatened in the closing minutes, with shots on goal coming from Michelle Schwarz at 79:41 and Kirsten Clemens at 86:25. But Murray State (2-5) goalkeeper Shelby Haworth, who made seven saves on the afternoon, was up to the challenge both times.

Hanna Benben tallied four saves for Saint Louis. Clemens fired a game-high three shots, all on frame.

The Billikens travel to Chicago to face Illinois-Chicago Friday, Sept. 19, at 7:30 p.m.
