Box Score KALAMAZOO, Mich. – Western Michigan scored a goal in each half and defeated Saint Louis 2-0 Sunday afternoon at the WMU Soccer Complex.
The Billikens slipped to 4-5, while Western Michigan improved to 6-2.
Aubrey Sudomier, assisted by Heather Piccariello and Kylie Nylen, scored her first goal of the season at the 20:03 mark to give the Broncos a 1-0 lead.
Western Michigan doubled its advantage at 66:39 as Gina Maddi (unassisted) tallied her first goal of the year.
Cristina Rodriguez and Kirsten Clemens each had two shots to lead SLU. Rodriguez, Clemens, Molly Ream and Livi Logan-Wood recorded a shot on goal apiece.
The Billikens welcome Omaha to Robert R. Hermann Stadium Saturday, Sept. 27, at 4 p.m. for Homecoming. The SLU men's team squares off against Central Arkansas at 7:30 p.m. The traditional Homecoming fireworks display will occur at halftime of the men's contest.
