DAVIDSON, N.C. – Sadie Stipanovich had game highs of 20 points and eight rebounds, and Saint Louis pulled away in the second half to defeat Davidson 77-59 in an Atlantic 10 Conference women's basketball game Saturday afternoon at Belk Arena.

At 13-12, Saint Louis is above the .500 mark after 25 games for the first time since the 2002-03 season.

Jenny Vliet (5-of-8 FG) scored 14 points and Olivia Jakubicek (6-of-9 FG) added 13 for the Billikens, who shot a season-high 53.7 percent (29-of-54) from the field. That included a 9-of-18 effort from 3-point range, led by a second consecutive 4-of-7 effort by Vliet. Five other Billikens had one trey apiece.
Saint Louis is 20-of-37 (54 percent) from beyond the arc in its last two games.

The Billikens led by just a point at halftime but gradually put distance between themselves and the Wildcats following the break.
Vliet drained a 3-pointer to put SLU on top 48-40, and Stipanovich answered Early's layup with one of her own for a 50-42 Saint Louis lead at the 10:52 mark.
Stipanovich's bucket triggered a 20-5 spurt that resulted in a 68-47 cushion with 3:20 remaining. Stipanovich (eight points), Jakubicek (seven) and Vliet (five) accounted for all the points during the run.
There were six ties and 12 lead changes in the opening period, and neither team led by more than four points.
The Billikens' largest first-half advantage was three points on two occasions; it was one of SLU's four first-half 3-pointers that provided the margin both times. Vliet buried a trey from the right wing to make it 14-11, while Kemph connected from deep from the opposite side to give SLU a 23-20 lead.
Davidson used a 13-7 run to go in front 33-30, but a Desirae Ball layup and Jakubicek's jumper on SLU's final possession gave the Billikens a 34-33 lead at intermission.
