Billikens Shut Out Rockhurst 3-0

ST. LOUIS - The Billiken baseball team used five pitchers in a combined 3-0 shutout of Rockhurst. Connor Lehmann (2-3) earned the win while Luke Sommerfeld picked up his first save as a Billiken. Saint Louis rises to 24-12 overall with the win. 

The Bills scored twice in the fourth inning. First, on an RBI single from Alex King. James Morisano lifted a sacrifice fly to deep center for the second run. 

In the fifth, Parker Sniatynski had a sacrifice fly to right field to give SLU the 3-0 lead. 

Josh Bunselmeyer was the Billikens' top hitter at the plate, going 2-3 with a walk and a run scored. Alex King was 2-4 with and RBI. 

Next up for Saint Louis is a three-game series against Massachusetts at the Billiken Sports Center. The first game is set to begin at 6 p.m. on April 17.
