Quotable
“It was nice to get our first game in as a group,” SLU head coach Mike McGinty said. “We were able to get minutes for all the field players and we saw some really good stuff. I was happy we were able to come back in the second half, but was disappointed we didn't end the first half stronger, which resulted in us conceding a late goal. We look forward to our game on Saturday against Jefferson College in what will be a great atmosphere at Hermann Stadium.”
