ST. LOUIS - Saint Louis men's and women's swimming and diving earned College Swimming and Diving Coaches Association of America (CSCAA) Scholar All-America Team honors.
To be selected as a CSCAA Scholar All-America Team, a program must have achieved a grade point average of 3.00 or higher in the fall 2016 semester. The Billiken men's team recorded a 3.28 GPA, while the women notched a 3.37 team GPA. Both teams surpassed the national averages of 3.22 for men and 3.34 for women.
Founded in 1922, the CSCAA – the oldest organization of college coaches in America – is a professional organization of college swimming and diving coaches dedicated to serving and providing leadership for the advancement of the sport of swimming and diving at the collegiate level.
The Billikens wrap up the regular season on Saturday when they host UMSL and Maryville at the Simon Rec Center at 2 p.m. The event will be Senior Day and the senior class will be recognized in a pre-meet ceremony.
