THE BASICS

•The Billikens are 12-13 overall and 1-2 in the A-10. The Hawks improved to 8-15, 2-1.
HOW IT HAPPENED
•Saint Louis jumped in front in the top of the first inning. Alex Nickel and Emma Buckles singled and advanced to third and second, respectively, on Mackenzie Peter's sacrifice. After Allie Macfarlane was intentionally walked, Nickel scored on Alyssa Tarquinio's single.
