THE BASICS

• Brooke Flowers tied for game-high scoring honors with 17 points and grabbed a game-high 12 rebounds to lead Saint Louis to a 62-45 Atlantic 10 Conference victory over St. Bonaventure Sunday afternoon at the Reilly Center.

• Jordyn Frantz scored 15 points and Ciaja Harbison (5-of-9) had 12 points and a game-high five assists for the Billikens, who snapped a two-game skid. Frantz tied for game-high honors and matched her season high with three steals.

• Flowers (8-of-12 FG) registered her fifth double-double of the season and tied her career best with a game-high four blocks.

• Saint Louis improved to 7-11 overall and 2-3 in the A-10. St. Bonaventure slipped to 4-14, 1-4.

FIRST QUARTER

• After Saint Louis jumped out to an 8-2 lead, St. Bonaventure took its only lead of the game, 9-8, with a 7-0 run.

• The Billikens answered with a 12-0 run to go on top 20-9. Six different players scored during the run.

• The Bonnies scored the next five points to make it a six-point game, but Flowers scored inside and Frantz nailed a 3-pointer at the buzzer for a 25-14 SLU advantage.

• The Bills shot 79 percent (11-of-14) from the field.

SECOND QUARTER

• Flowers tallied six points and Tasia Jeffries hit a trey in a 9-2 run that gave SLU its largest first-half cushion, 34-16, with 6:02 left.

• St. Bonaventure finished the quarter with a 9-0 spurt that narrowed the margin to nine, 34-25, at intermission.

THIRD QUARTER

• The Billikens extended their lead to 14 points twice, the second time a 42-28 edge at the 5:31 mark.

• The Bonnies tallied six straight points and trailed 42-34 with 3:40 remaining.

• Late buckets by Kendra Wilken, Chloe Rice and Harbison lifted Saint Louis to a 48-36 lead with one quarter to play.

FOURTH QUARTER

• The Billikens took firm command with an 8-0 run to begin the period, giving them their largest lead of the game, 56-36.

• St. Bonaventure drew no closer than 13 the rest of the way.

• The Billikens shot 46.4 percent for the game, tying their season best vs. an A-10 opponent.

• SLU out-rebounded St. Bonaventure 45-28; the +17 margin is the Bills' season high vs. a conference opponent.

• The Billikens outscored the Bonnies 32-16 in the paint.

• Saint Louis held St. Bonaventure leading scorer Mckenna Maycock to two points.
