Belk Arena | Davidson, N.C.

THE BASICS

• Saint Louis rallied after trailing by 10 points in the fourth quarter, but Davidson hung on for a 60-57 Atlantic 10 Conference win Saturday afternoon at Belk Arena.

• The Billikens fell to 13-14 overall and 8-6 in the A-10. The Wildcats improved to 16-11, 10-4.

Jordyn Frantz scored a team-high 18 points and matched her career high of five 3-pointers (5-of-11). Kerri McMahan, who scored seven points during SLU's comeback attempt, finished with 11, as did Myia Clark, who was 3-of-3 from beyond the arc.

Brooke Flowers collected 17 rebounds (six offensive) and McMahan tallied five assists, both game highs. It was Flowers' eighth double-digit rebound total of the season.

• Saint Louis sank a season-high 10 3-pointers (10-for-20) and earned a 43-38 advantage on the boards.

FIRST QUARTER

• Saint Louis scored the first 10 points of the game on layups by McMahan and Flowers and 3-pointers by Frantz and Clark.

• Davidson answered with an 8-0 run, but another Frantz triple made it 13-8 Billikens after one quarter.

SECOND QUARTER

• Davidson drew even at 13 with 7:32 remaining.

• SLU took the first-half lead for good, 16-13, on a Clark 3-pointer. She would connect from deep again, as would Frantz and Tasia Jeffries, in a spurt that put the Billikens on top 31-23.

• The Bills took a 31-25 lead to the locker room.

THIRD QUARTER

• A 3-pointer on Davidson's first possession cut the margin in half, but Saint Louis went up by eight on a Ciaja Harbison jumper and a Frantz trey on consecutive possessions.

• The lead floated between five and eight points until a Davidson bucket with 3:16 left triggered a 17-1 run that carried over to the fourth quarter.

• The Wildcats earned their first lead and went in front to stay, 45-44, on a shot that just beat the buzzer.

FOURTH QUARTER

• Davidson led 54-44 with possession, but a SLU defensive stop ignited a Billiken rally.

• McMahan netted seven points on three straight possessions, capped by a 3-pointer, to make it 54-51 Davidson with 5:13 left.

• It was 56-53 following two McMahan free throws at the 3:54 mark. Following a scoring drought for both teams, Frantz made a free throw with 42 seconds left to make it 56-54.

• Two from the stripe with eight seconds remaining doubled the Davidson lead. Frantz's fifth 3-pointer sliced the margin to one, but the Wildcats converted twice from the line for the final score.

BILLIKEN NOTABLES

• Saint Louis has made seven or more 3-pointers in three of its last four games.

Jordyn Frantz moved into third place on SLU's all-time single-season list for 3-pointers (71).

Kerri McMahan has scored in double figures in six of the last nine games, averaging 9.7 points during that stretch.

Brooke Flowers blocked three shots to lift her season total to 57, good for third place on SLU's single-season list.
