Swimming Brings Home Medals from A-10 Championship

Saint Louis men and women competed in the Atlantic 10 Swimming and Diving Championship at the SPIRE Institute in Geneva, Ohio, Feb. 20-23. The teams brought home a combined five medals, two golds and three silvers.

Grant Streid grabbed first place and the gold medal in the 100 fly (47.88), while also nabbing a silver medal in the 200 fly with a time of 1:47.10.

Collin O'Brien won the Billikens' second gold medal in the 200 breast (1:58.73).

Justin Mars took home a silver medal in the 100 breast with a time of 54.25.

Savannah Nichols was a silver medal winner in the 200 fly (2:00.93).

The men's side finished the four-day competition with 344 points, and the women scored 181.
