Box Score Saint Louis completed the three-game series sweep of the Chicago State Cougars on Sunday, winning the finale 8-3 and bringing their overall record to 9-9 on the year.
Charlie Sheehan took home his first win of the season, throwing 2.0 innings of two-hit, no run ball and striking out two.
Drew Reveno started the game for the Billikens, lasting 4.0 innings and giving up one earned run. He struck out five opposing batters on the day.
Luke Matheny, Grant Fremion and Ryan Lefner each threw scoreless inning in relief.
At the plate, the Billikens had five players go for multi-hit games.
Freshmen Cam Redding and Scott Youngbrandt both went 2-4 with two RBIs.
Shane Benes was 2-5 with two runs scored.
Cole Dubet finished the afternoon 2-4 with one RBI and one run scored.
Zach Freiling went 2-3 with one run scored.
