• Saint Louis opens Atlantic 10 Conference play on its home court against Davidson, following an 8-5 non-conference season.
• Through games of Dec. 31, Saint Louis was the highest-ranked A-10 team in the RPI at No. 50.
• SLU holds a 5-2 advantage over Davidson in all-time meetings.
• The Billikens were predicted to finish fourth in the league race in the annual preseason poll of A-10 head coaches.
A LOOK AT THE BILLIKENS
• Through games of Jan. 1, Saint Louis' opponent average of 56.8 points per game ranked second in the Atlantic 10 Conference, 48th in the NCAA.
• SLU is 6-0 this season in games where they score 60 or more points.
• Sophomore Brooke Flowers jumped two spots to fourth on the Billikens' all-time blocks list with 97, after swatting five Sycamore shots Dec. 30.
• Flowers is just one behind Sadie Stipanovich (98) for third all-time.
• Ciaja Harbison leads the Billikens in scoring (15.2 ppg), assists (3.5 apg) and steals (1.5 spg).
• The sophomore has scored in double figures in all but two contests this season and in 36 of 44 career games.
• Harbison has recorded 19+ points in six games this season, including tying a career high with 22 points in each of the last two against Kansas and Indiana State.
• The Billikens, on average, are +4.2 in rebounding through 13 games, and they have three players in the top 10 in the league in rebounds per game.
• Through Dec. 31, Myriama Smith Traore was fifth in the A-10 with 8.2 rpg, while Flowers sat seventh (7.8) and Kendra Wilken eighth (7.5).
• As a team, the Billikens rank second in the league with 4.92 blocked shots per game and third with 13.5 offensive rebounds per game and their 74 percent free throw shooting.
A LOOK AT THE WILDCATS
• Davidson enters the game with a 7-6 record in their non-conference slate.
• The Wildcats were selected fifth in the A-10 preseason poll, just three points behind the Billikens.
• Three Wildcats are scoring in double figures — Suzi-Rose Deegan (15.8 ppg), Sarah Donovan (11.4 ppg) and Katie Turner (10.4 ppg).
• Donovan leads the league in rebounding, averaging 8.6 per game. On Dec. 2, she grabbed 20 boards at High Point.
• Deegan has been named the A-10 Rookie of the Week three times this year.
• The freshman twice has gone for 30 points (31 vs. Kansas City and 30 vs. Charlotte) and had her first career double-double at Florida (14 points, 13 rebounds).
