ST. LOUIS – Saint Louis forward
Simon Becher, who was named the Atlantic 10 Conference men's soccer Offensive Player of the Week earlier this week, drew additional national honors from two popular college soccer website.

TopDrawerSoccer.com named Becher the
TDS Player of the Week, while CollegeSoccerNews.com tabbed Becher its
National Player of the Week.

Becher helped the Billikens (9-0-3, 5-0-0 A-10) to two wins last week, totaling six points (2G, 2A) to increase his team scoring lead to 23 points (8G, 7A) for the season.

Against Saint Joseph's on Oct. 6, Becher opened the scoring with a first-half goal and assisted on the golden goal in a thrilling 3-2 double-overtime victory.

Against VCU on Oct. 9, Becher again registered a goal and an assist. He opened the scoring in the first half and added an assist on a second-half insurance goal as the Billikens claimed a convincing 4-1 win over the Rams.

Also on Monday, the NCAA released the first RPI report of the season, with the Billikens checking in at No. 21. SLU also rose to No. 6 in the Top Drawer Soccer national rankings and are ranked No. 11 in this week's United Soccer Coaches poll.
