Yuri Collins were named to the Atlantic 10 Conference's preseason All-Conference team, the league announced today.

Also, the Billikens were picked to finish third in the A-10 race in the annual preseason poll. The preseason All-Conference teams and the projected order of finish were voted upon by the league's 14 head coaches and media representatives from each program.

Perkins earned a spot on the preseason first team. Last season, he led the Billikens in scoring with 17.1 ppg and earned second-team All-Conference honors. Perkins shot .456 from the field, .376 from 3-point range and an A-10-leading .866 from the free-throw line. He scored in double figures in all but one game and scored 20 points or more seven times.

In two seasons with the Billikens, Perkins has poured in 825 career points and his 15.9 career scoring average ranks 10th in school history.

Collins earned a spot on the preseason third team and was one of five A-10 players voted to the preseason All-Defensive team. Last season, Collins led the Atlantic 10 and was 10th nationally with 6.1 assists per game. An A-10 All-Rookie team pick in 2019-20, Collins broke the SLU freshman record with 171 assists.

In two seasons at SLU, Collins has 287 total assists (5.7 per game) and 69 steals.

The Billikens play their second and final exhibition game on Sunday afternoon at 3 p.m. against Lindenwood at Chaifetz Arena. Saint Louis' season opener is set for Tuesday, Nov. 9, at 7 p.m. against Central Arkansas at Chaifetz Arena.
