Saint Louis was tabbed for a fourth-place finish in the 2022 Atlantic 10 Conference baseball race, the league announced today.

VCU (143 points, 11 first-place votes) was the coaches' pick to capture the conference title. Dayton (122 points) was picked runner-up and received one first-place vote.

Rhode Island (101) was selected third, followed by Saint Louis (94), Davidson (91), Fordham (83), George Washington (80), Richmond (76), Saint Joseph's (73), George Mason (33), Massachusetts (26) and St. Bonaventure (14).

15th-year head coach Darin Hendrickson welcomes back 19 players from last year's squad. 12 newcomers join the team, including eight transfers and four freshmen.

Saint Louis will open its season Friday, Feb. 18, against Bowling Green in Hoover, Ala.
