• Saint Louis (12-9) hosts Southeast Missouri State Tuesday afternoon before heading to Bronx, N.Y., for the Atlantic 10 Conference opener at Fordham this weekend.
• The Billikens split a brief two-game series at Illinois State last weekend and have now won 11 of their last 14 contests.
• RHP Scott Youngbrandt is set to take the bump Tuesday. He's 2-1 on the season with 21 strikeouts in 19.2 innings and was named the A-10 pitcher of the week on March 21.
• Tyler Fogarty registered his team-leading sixth home run of the season Friday at Illinois State. He leads the team and ranks fifth in the conference in that category. Fogarty is also tops on the Billikens in runs (18), slugging percentage (.661) and RBIs (16).
• Cam Redding collected his first two home runs of the season against the Redbirds. He hit for a .500 batting average in the series with four hits, four RBIs and three runs scored. Redding is just two RBIs away from 100 in his career.
• Matt Turino has tallied five hits in the last four games, including two multi-hit contests. He's recorded two home runs, six RBIs and five runs scored in that span.
• The Billikens are 16-for-18 in stolen-base attempts on the year. Fogarty and Mark Vierling lead the way with five each.
• Cameron Pferrer picked up his third save in the series finale over Austin Peay. In his last six outings (8.0 IP), Pferrer has given up just one unearned run and has 13 strikeouts.
• LHP Ryan Surin is tops on the team with a 1.00 ERA. He's allowed just one earned run in his eight appearances (9.0 IP) out of the bullpen.
• Starting pitcher Logan Schmitt has a team-leading three wins on the year. He tied a career best with six strikeouts in his 3.0 innings Sunday at Illinois State. Over Schmitt's last 13.2 IP, he's allowed just two runs while striking out 16 and walking none.
• The Billikens were pegged for a fourth place finish in the A-10, while Fordham was tabbed sixth.
