GAME NOTES: Saint Louis
• Saint Louis (26-21, 12-8 A-10) will welcome Dayton for the final weekend series of the regular season. The Billikens enter the series in fourth place in the Atlantic 10 Conference standings, while Dayton is in a three-way tie for seventh.
• The league's top seven teams will meet in Davison, N.C., next week for the A-10 Championship. The winner of the tournament will receive the conference's automatic bid to NCAA Regionals. For more information, visit the A-10's Championship Central.
• The Billikens will recognize 12 seniors prior to Saturday's series finale.
• Cam Redding was named both one of Collegiate Baseball's National Players of the Week and the Atlantic 10 Conference Co-Player of the Week on Monday. He put up massive numbers at Rhode Island, recording a .786 batting average on 11 hits, including three home runs, nine RBIs and eight runs, and he finished with a 1.500 slugging percentage.
• With the big weekend, Redding moved into the top 20 on SLU's all-time RBIs list (115, T19th) and walks chart (85, 19th).
• Mark Vierling is riding an eight-game hitting streak for the Billikens. He's posting a .424 batting average in that span, with 11 RBIs, eight runs scored and seven extra-base hits.
• Tyler Fogarty (28 games) and Kyle Fitzgerald (25 games) hold SLU's longest reached- base streaks. Both connected on home runs last weekend. Fogarty registered his team-leading 10th long ball of the season, while Fitzgerald smacked his ninth.
• Logan Schmitt (8-1) is tied for third in the A-10 and tied for 16th in the NCAA with eight wins on the year. His eight victories are tied for ninth in a single season at SLU.
• With six wins apiece, Trevor Harris and Scott Youngbrandt are tied for fifth in the league in victories.
• Cameron Pferrer leads the conference with eight saves on the season. That number is fifth in a single season for a Billiken, while his 1.65 ERA would rank seventh.
