GREENSBORO, N.C.  – The Saint Louis University baseball team earned the American Baseball Coaches' Association (ABCA) Team Academic Excellence Award for their success in the classroom during the 2024-25 academic year, the organization announced Wednesday, July 23.

SLU was one of six Atlantic 10 baseball programs to earn the honor, as Davidson, Fordham, Saint Joseph's, St. Bonaventure and Richmond also received Team Academic Excellence Award recognition. 

The ABCA Team Academic Excellence Award is given annually to honor high school and college teams that posted a GPA over 3.0 on a 4.0 scale for the academic year. This year, 300 high school programs and 440 collegiate programs were recognized with the award.

The Billikens posted an overall record of 33-26 and reached the semi-finals of the A-10 Conference Tournament.
