WASHINGTON – Saint Louis freshman Ellie Rink was named Atlantic 10 volleyball Rookie of the Week, the league office announced Monday.

Rink helped the Billikens go undefeated at the Billiken Invitational, sweeping Austin Peay and Murray State before defeating Western Illinois 3-1.

The Bloomington, Illinois, native recorded back-to-back double-doubles, including 17 kills and 17 digs against the Leathernecks.

Across 10 sets, she averaged 4.0 kills, 3.1 digs and 0.5 blocks per set for 4.5 points per set while hitting .202 on the weekend.
