WASHINGTON, D.C. - Alyssa Koerkenmeier earned her fifth Rookie of the Week award, the league announced on Monday.

Koerkenmeier delivered another historic performance for Saint Louis, continuing one of the most dominant freshman seasons in program history.

In the Billikens' matchup against Saint Joseph's, Koerkenmeier recorded 14 points and 12 rebounds for her 10th double-double of the season, shooting 8-of-9 from the free-throw line while pulling down eight offensive boards. 

With her performance this week, Koerkenmeier broke the Saint Louis freshman rebounding record and climbed into the top 10 in program history for single-season rebounds. She now sits at 272 rebounds this season — an extraordinary mark for a first-year player and one that places her among the most productive rebounders ever to wear a Billiken uniform.
