Birmingham, Ala. - For the second-straight outing against the UAB Blazers, Kristin Rossi threw an outstanding game but had nothing to show for it. The freshman allowed just one run on two hits but was again the tough-luck loser for Saint Louis in a 1-0 loss at UAB. On Saturday, Rossi allowed just one earned one run but took the loss.

The Billikens were stymied once again by Kerri Foster, who picked up her second win of the weekend over SLU. The Bills managed seven hits, but were unable to push across a run. Rossi did her part by keeping the Blazers off the board, but gave up a solo home run to her pitching counterpart in the fifth inning for the only run of the game. Bridget Fletcher had two hits in three at-bats and five other Billikens had one hit apiece.

The Billikens fall to 8-40, 2-13 in Conference USA. UAB sees its record improve to 22-31, 6-9 in the league.
