Beth Puttcamp singled past second and Erin Jeffrey followed by beating out a bunt single. Jamie Hayden advanced them both with a sac bunt and Beth Yagge walked to load the bases with one out. Venorsky hammered a pitch to center field to give the Bills a 3-1 lead. Puttcamp, who reached during all three of her plate appearances, added an insurance run in the sixth and the Billikens ended the game by turning a double play.
