Nashville, Tenn. - The Saint Louis University softball team set a school record with their seventh straight win in a 10-3 victory over Tennessee State. The game was a makeup single game after Saturday's doubleheader was rained out.

The Billikens tallied one run in the first inning, but broke the game open in the second. Saint Louis sent 12 batters to the plate in the second inning. Adrienne May had a two-run single to ignite the run and a bases-loaded walk by Jessica Saucedo ended the outburst. In the sixth, Beth Schomaker tripled to lead off the inning. One out later, Saucedo tripled Schomaker in. Cori Bittick had an RBI single to end the scoring. Billiken starter Heather Hubert allowed one hit and had seven strikeouts over three innings to improve to a perfect 7-0 on the year. Lacey Dively picked up her second save of the year. May went 3-for-3, scored three times, drove in two runs and stole two bases. Nicole Bohnenstiehl had three RBI. The Billikens lashed out a season-high 14 hits in the game and reached double-figures in scoring for the second straight outing. The Billikens have scored at least 10 runs in consecutive games for the first time since 1989.

Saint Louis won for the seventh straight time to run its record to 11-1 while the Tigers fall to 5-10. The Bills begin Conference USA play tomorrow at UAB in a doubleheader beginning at 4 p.m.
