Game Two Stats

St. Louis - Strong pitching performances from Ashley Levan and Lorena Floccari propelled Saint Louis to a doubleheader sweep of UT-Martin on Tuesday afternoon. The Billikens shut out the Skyhawks 1-0 in the first game and held on in game two 3-2.

Levan notched five strikeouts and scattered six hits to pick up her fourth shutout of the season. The Billikens scored the only run of the game in the fifth inning. Adrienne May tripled to right center, and Ashlee Heady singled to right to plate the lone run of the game. Levan only allowed one UT-Martin runner to reach third and held on for her sixth win of the year.

In the second game, the Billikens jumped out to a three-run lead and held off a late Skyhawk rally. Lorena Floccari induced a groundout by Kristin Runyan to end the game. Both runs that Floccari surrendered were unearned, and she notched five strikeouts to claim her 12th win of the season.

The Billikens improve to 18-24, while the Skyhawks fall to 26-14.
