Final Stats
Louisville, Ky. -
Louisville launched 17 hits at Saint Louis en route to an 11-0 win over the Billikens in a Conference USA contest on Saturday afternoon. The Cardinals' Cathernine Bishop gave up just one hit to the Billikens, a third inning double by Adrienne May to keep SLU off the scoreboard.
The Cardinals scored the only run they would need in the first on back-to-back triples. The Cards added three more runs to finish the first with a 4-0 lead. UofL sealed the win with three more runs in the second as they eased to the win. Logan Justice reached base in the second and moved into scoring position, but she was stranded there. May lashed a double with one out in the top of the third, but she was the only SLU player to register a hit.
The Billikens fall to 18-26-1, 4-15 in C-USA. The Cardinals improve to 30-16, 12-4 in conference. The teams will play a doubleheader on Sunday to close out the series.
