What is your favorite childhood memory? Family and friend birthday parties ... I would look forward to my birthday for weeks.
At what point, did you start to believe that you could compete athletically at the collegiate level, and why? I played on competitive high school and club teams so it was always in the back of my mind that I wanted to keep playing after high school.
What does it mean to you to be a Billiken? It means representing the school as well as you can on the court and give off the reputation of being a hard working and dedicated team that does not give up.
What is the most significant way you have changed since coming to SLU? I have become more independent and confident in myself as a person. I also feel like I have learned what it means to be a true friend and how to maintain good, healthy relationships.
Do you think you could ever be a coach, and why or why not? I could see myself one day coaching my kids and telling them how I used to play, even though they probably wouldn't believe me.
What is your most cherished material possession, and why? My cell phone because it lets me stay in touch with people I don't see very often.
What is the most important thing you've learned from athletic competition? Hard work creates results. If you put in the work, you will create success for yourself and your team.
What has been your most memorable vacation? During my junior year of high school I went to London and Paris for a week with my uncle and my best friend. It was the first time I had been out of the country, and I enjoyed every second of it.
When someone is visiting your hometown, what is something everyone should see? The Kentucky Derby!
What sporting event do you most want to see in person? Any competition at the Olympics
What skill do you wish you possessed? It would be cool to sing, or play a musical instrument.
What has been your best day as a Billiken student-athlete? Running out to a screaming crowd of 6,100 fans at the Penn State match.
What is the toughest thing about being a college student-athlete? Finding down time to relax and do the little things I enjoy doing
What is something you have to do before every match? Share an iPod with Sammi on the way to the gym
What is your greatest achievement that has nothing to do with your sport? Being a godmother to my cousin, Tucker
What is the most interesting thing you did over the summer? I had a summer internship at the Commonwealth Attorney's Office in Louisville.
What is something you've always wanted to be able to do? A backflip
Where do you hope to be and what do you hope to be doing in 10 years? Hopefully I will be a successful attorney with a great family!
What is something you just can't get enough of? McDonald's ice cream cones and One Tree Hill
What match are you most looking forward to this season? All of them ... it's my senior year and I want to enjoy every part of my last season here.
