ST. LOUIS - Saint Louis catched Jake Henson extended his hitting streak to nine games as the Billikens split a double header at Memphis. The Tigers won the first game, 3-4, with a 10th inning home run. The Bills rebounded in game two to top Memphis 3-2.

Saint Louis is now 4-5 on the year.

In the first game Danny Mannion opened the scoring in the second inning, driving in Henson from third. However, Memphis responded with three runs of its own in the bottom of the frame.

Henson ripped an RBI single down the left field line in the fourth to score Colton Frabasilio and cut the Tiger lead to one.

The Billikens tied the game in the seventh when Alex King drove in Michael Bozarth

Neither team could gain an edge until the tenth inning when Memphis hit a walk-off home run in the 10th inning. It was the Tigers' first walk-off HR since April 9, 2010 against East Carolina. Brett Shimanovsky (0-1) was hit with the loss.

In game two, Memphis jumped out to an early lead, plating a run in the bottom of the first.

Trent Leimkuehler tied the game in the fifth on a fielder's choice, scoring Josh Bunselmeyer.

Saint Louis snagged the lead in the sixth on a two-RBI double from Bunselmeyer, scoring Henson and Frabasilio.

The Tigers added a run in the bottom of the sixth, but the Billiken bullpen held Memphis after that, sealing a 3-2 win for SLU. Clay Smith (2-0) earned the win, while Zach Girrens (1) got the save.

Next up is game three of the series tomorrow at noon. Freshman Connor Lehmann will take the hill for the Billikens.
